FoTHG launched in Bogotá on July 17, 2025, to support multilateral efforts like The Hague Group (THG) to end the Israeli genocide and ethnic cleansing against the Palestinian people, and to ensure that all such efforts be grounded in the inalienable rights of the Palestinian people, including: the right to self-determination; the right of return for all Palestinian refugees and deportees forcibly displaced since 1948; and the right to full reparation, including restitution, compensation, satisfaction, and guarantees of non-repetition.

FoTHG is made up of social movements, solidarity organizations, and unions that are enthusiastically committed to these goals, and to the specific demands laid out in FoTHG's Statement of Principle.
